A person who is ambidextrous is considered to be equally skilled with both hands. So why Ambidexter Management?

One of the dilemma's organizations face is that they need to be equally skilled in two opposing mind sets:

  • On a day-to-day basis they need to run the operation of the organization
  • On a long-term basis they need to change the organization to adapt it to changing circumstances

In other words, they need to have Ambidexter Management.

It is where the hands meet that things start to happen!
